NEWCASTLE, United Kingdom — Hundreds of Nigerian nurses from across the United Kingdom are arriving in Newcastle today as the much-anticipated Nigerian Nurses in UK (NNUK) Summer Hangout 6.0 gets underway.

For many attendees, the three-day gathering is not just another social event. It is a rare opportunity to step away from the pressures of healthcare work, reconnect with colleagues and celebrate the shared journey of Nigerian nurses building careers and lives in the UK.

Taking place from 24 to 26 July 2026, the event brings together nurses travelling from different parts of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland for a weekend of friendship, networking and cultural celebration.
