Nurses’ Hangout S3 Is Gone But Its Memories Linger On – Oluwatosin K. Odunayo Scintillating! That’s how the Nurses Hangout season 3 would have been described but it was more than that. The event which took place over the weekend required painstaking preparations and were in every sense a hangout of fun at its peak! The chairman National association of Nigerian Nurses And midwives, NANNM, Lagos State Chapter, Com. Awojide, the forum chairman Lagos state , Mrs Aina amongst other dignitaries join the hundreds of nursing fun seekers at Barraccuda beach Lagos, the venue of the Nurses Hangout yesterday 14th of September 2019 to share in the fun of the moment. The two day event which started on Friday night with a pool party had both old and younger generation of nurses in attendance. The hangout according to one of the organisers, Com. Olarenwaju Bunmi  popularly  known as “Tuale pastor”  was organized out of the need for Nurses to socialize, network and while away stress. In his words, Nurses are overworked but they hardly have time for themselves to socialize, the 2019 edition of the Nurses’ hangout brought Nurses from various specialities together to network and above all have fun. The event had reasonable turnout of nurses from cities like Abeokuta, Oshogbo, Ado Ekiti, Ogbomosho, Ibadan , Akure and other places for the purpose of networking. For the event, Nurses  were dolled up in their customized t-shirts participating in different kinds of activities scheduled for the program like dancing competition, basketball, soccer, volleyball, table tennis, swimming amongst others. There was a lot to eat and drink with the serene atmosphere for catching up with friends , old school mates, colleagues and business opportunities. Representatives of one the sponsors of the event, Three crown milk was also in attendance to organize fitness training for the participants. See more pictures below…
