PLATINUM JUBILEE: QUEEN ELIZABETH HONOURS NIGERIAN NURSE, OTHERS.

The Platinum Jubilee celebrates Queen Elizabeth II’s 70th year on the throne in 2022, with people spending the bank holiday weekend remembering her contributions to the UK. At the same time, thousands of other Britons will receive a similar commendation in her name. The list of people lined up to receive one of nine awards in the Queen’s birthday honours was released by the Governments.

Amongst them is a notable British – Nigerian Nurse , Yemisi Osho MBE who’s dedicated her life to service for the NHS and to the Community in London Borough of Waltham Forest during the Covid pandemic. Others are

  • Prof. Uzoamaka Linda Iwobi OBE
  • Chinyere Ada Nwanoku OBE
  • Dr Olukayode Adedokun Adegbembo
  • Elizabeth Ekeleoseye Owolabi
  • Mikhail Adedayo Olowoshale
