November in Review: The Stories You Loved And the Ones You May Have Missed

November was a month that reminded us why the Fellow Nurses Africa community is powerful not just in numbers, but in voice, courage, and shared experience. It was the month we laughed, questioned, learned, argued, celebrated wins, and held space for each other when difficult news surfaced.

Across the month, we shared posts that sparked reflection and stirred the entire nursing space; some of them you saw, some of them you saved and honestly… others you probably missed (but don’t worry,  they’re all still on our website).

These are some of the highlights you definitely remember.

These posts led the conversations and carried the most reactions:

1. NMCN’s Shocking 9% Pass Rate in Public Health

A national conversation that opened our eyes to deeper academic and systemic issues.

2. NMCN Launches a Full Investigation on the Council Exam Result.

A reminder that advocacy works  and nurses’ voices matter.

3. The New NMCN Digital Portal

A major shift toward digitalized processes for licensing and registration.

4. Fully-Funded Scholarships for African Nurses

One of the most shared posts  because opportunities change lives.

5. Internship Openings Across the Country

A lifeline for fresh graduates looking to complete their training.

6. Fake Nursing School Exposed

A necessary post that protects future nurses from exploitation.

7. ₦300,000 Uniform Allowance + 30% Shift Allowance Update

A welfare conversation that reminded us of our collective progress.

These were big but here’s the thing…there was more. Much More. Not every post went viral, but many carried insight, opportunity, and quiet value.

· Stories about professional growth.

· Updates on global recruitment.

· Tips for building a digital nursing portfolio.

· Scholarships that were still open.

· Research opportunities.

· Career pathways.

· Nursing leadership stories

· And a few reflective pieces that touched the heart.

If you blinked, you might have missed one or five or  ten. They’re still waiting for you, right there on the page.

If November informed us, imagine what December would look like.

Expect:

· More opportunities.

· Deep-dive professional topics

·  Nurse spotlight features

· A special year-end series

·  …and lots more!

Stay with us. Catch up on what you missed. Prepare for what’s coming.

Because every post, every conversation, every update is created for one purpose:
To empower the African Nurse.
