Nurse Nnachi Mike E. elected president, National Association Of Nigerian Nurses And Midwives (NANNM).

Nurse Nnachi Mike E. elected president, National Association Of Nigerian Nurses And Midwives (NANNM). Nurse Nnachi Mike is the NANNM’s new President. Nnachi on Thursday 28th January emerged the new President of National Association Of Nigerian Nurses And Midwives. He was among other executive members elected at the end of the association’s 2021 Annual General Conference and Delegates Meeting. Comrade Nnachi, defeated his opponent Comrade Essangedo Patrick with 185 votes against 2votes. Nnachi is an indigene of Afikpo,Ebonyi state. The electorate was drawn from all the states and FCT. He has a master’s degree in Nursing education and currently running another master’s degree in health policy and health systems. Until his election, he is a lecturer at the Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki. Other elected National Officers to run the affairs of the association for the next four years are President: Michael Nnachi Deputy President: Abubakar Sheu 1st Vice: Lasisi Usman 2nd vice:Isreal Blessing 3rd Vice : Imo Etuk 4th Vice :Obadiah Treasurer :Mercy Lenka Fin Sec: Ojong Auditor 1:David Nanushi Auditor 2:Faniran Olumide With this new development, Nurse Nnachi Mike replaces Nurse Adeniji Alani as the new president of NANNM for the next four years.
