Sommie was born on December 26, 1995, the eldest of three siblings, a former beauty queen whose intelligence and compassion shone through every story she told on Arise News. That night, as armed robbers invaded her home, she suffered devastating injuries—some say from a fall while trying to escape, others mention possible gunshot wounds.
Friends rushed her to Maitama General Hospital, clinging to hope.
