A Nigerian- Canadian nurse, Bukola Salami has been elected Into The Board of Canadian Nurses Association, Fellow Nurses Africa can confirm. 

“I am so happy to see her there she will be great for the board and for us all African nurses in Canada! Congratulations to her” She said. Prior to this role, Bukola is an associate professor at the University of Alberta and the project Lead , University of Alberta Black youth Mentorship programme. In her response to twitter congratulatory wishes and compliments, Bukola appreciated all who’s voted for her and especially for giving her the opportunity to serve in the crucial role.
