It was a case of “bad day devil drink water” for the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors NARD, FMC Yenogoa Yesterday as a resident Dr identified as Stephen Ijeuwe colapsed and died during the National Executive Council meeting of the association . According to an eye witness, Dr Stephen had a cardiac arrest and was rushed to the Accident and emmergency department of the hospital where CPR was carried out on him but all hope was lost when they were told that the hospital had only one defilbrillator which was not functioning. 2 hours after  despite much resistance, we were able to get one at the government house but it was too late the source said. Until his death, Dr Stephen was the General Secretary, Nigerian Association Of Resident Doctors, FMC, Abeokuta. May his soul rest in peace.
