Who Is Nurse Olorunda Idowu Emmanuel? Nursing Excellence Award 2020

Idowu Emmanuel Olorunda lives in the United Kingdom with his wife and children. He was born about three decades ago at Oba-Akoko, while his parents was there for a festive visit. He completed his primary and Secondary education in Aisegba Ekiti and was recognised as an outstanding student through the years with so many awards. Idowu forged ahead into School of Nursing, Ado-Ekiti where he was certified as a ‘Registered Nurse’. Due to his existing hunger for experience, he quickly moved to Lagos where he got his first Job that thought him resilience, hard work and effective management. This prepared and shepherd him into his first Big Job at Ekiti State University Teaching hospital. He contributed selflessly to the growth of his profession and also in the preceptorship of the final year student Nurses and Medical Students. During this period, he seized the opportunity to pursue his first degree in Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho and successfully passed out with  second class honour. Meanhwile, in the same year, he registered as a Nurse Anaesthetist with NMCN after completing 18 months post-basic Nursing Anaethesia programme in Jos University Teaching Hospital. He was nominated for the Special Recognition Award category.
