To The Nurse Next Door

FNA Editor by FNA Editor

She is a candle
She burned every night
Losing strength with pains untold
But she wouldn’t mind
Because she was born to serve humanity.

She is batman
She skips breakfast to save a life
Dancing to the tune of a rumbling stomach
But she wouldn’t mind
Because she was born to serve humanity.

Like a priest
She missed important family meetings
Missing out on every scene of family drama and fun
But, she wouldn’t mind
Because she was born to serve humanity.

Like an iceberg
Her strength invisible hid under the sea
Her pains and tears buried under the skin of a superhero
But, she wouldn’t mind
Because she was born to serve humanity.

When humanity speaks ……
The heart of humanity
Sees your effort to restore vitality
Your strength and labour depicts humanity
Of course, you are one of divinity
Because you are born to serve humanity.

That one life saved
That sacrifice made
That tear drop
Only affirms that YES, you’re serving humanity.

Stay strong for one more life
Smile bright for one more heart
Stand strong and speak bold
We continue to tell the world
YES, We are proud to serve humanity.
