LAUTECH Matriculates 800 Nursing Students!

The ladoke Akintola university of Technology Ogbomoso has today matriculated not less than 800 Registered Nurses into its Open and Distance learning centre LODLC to pursue the bachelor of Nursing science, BNsc.

The matriculation Was The second to be conducted for Undergraduate Nurses since the inception of the the programme in the year 2015.

The four years Programme affords Nurses a BNSC (Bachelor of Nursing science) on completion,After which they can proceed for the National youth service corps with the exception for those who graduated above the age of 30years.

The vice chancellor of the University, professor Adeniyi Sulaiman Gbadegesin in his speech welcomed the matriculating students and encourage them to be law abiding ambassadors of the institution.

Recall that the center started with a single program in computer science in in 2015, Lautech odl has now become rooted with the Nigeria university commission approval for 3 additional program, Bnsc nursing, bachelor in accounting, bsc marketing.

The flexibility of the program made delivery of instruction with little or no disruption to NATIONAL, family, and individual circumstances and taking the advantages of emerging information and communication technologies ( ICT) the most logical pathway is by the open and distant learning mode.

One of the matriculants, Oyeniyi Elizabeth interviewed by FNA correspondent said today happens to be the happiest day of her life as she never believed her dream to have a degree in nursing science could be this easy and flexible. In her words, she encouraged all interested Registered Nurses to make hay while the sun shines and enroll for the next academic session.

LODL programe is not limited to Students in Nigeria only as BSC candidates from Canada, United Kingdom, India, Saudi Arabia and other African countries are students already.
