Terms of Service — Fellow Nurses Africa
Clear, transparent rules governing the use of Fellow Nurses Africa digital platforms, investigative journalism, whistleblower pipelines, and healthcare career programs.
1 Acceptance of Terms & Pan-African Scope
Welcome to Fellow Nurses Africa (FNA). By accessing or using our website (fellownurses.com), mobile platforms, social communities, or digital submission pipelines, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our services.
These terms apply uniformly across all readers, student nurses, practicing clinicians, healthcare contributors, and institutional partners across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, the wider African continent, and the global diaspora.
2 Editorial Integrity, Author Rights & Submissions
Fellow Nurses Africa is an independent digital media platform committed to courageous, evidence-based journalism that elevates healthcare and protects the nursing profession. When submitting news, opinion columns, clinical studies, or comments to FNA:
- Originality & Accuracy: You warrant that your submission is your original work, factual, free from plagiarism, and does not infringe on third-party copyrights or non-disclosure agreements.
- Author Bylines: Approved contributors receive verified author bylines. By submitting, you grant FNA a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to edit, publish, index, and archive the contribution across our digital network.
- Community Decorum: Hate speech, unverified defamatory accusations, tribalist rhetoric, and promotional spam will be removed immediately without prior notice.
3 Anti-Quackery & Confidential Whistleblower Pipeline
FNA operates a dedicated 24/7 Anti-Quackery desk allowing nurses, clinical students, and patients to expose fraudulent practitioners, fake licensing cartels, unaccredited nursing schools, and patient safety violations.
We apply rigorous journalistic source protection. When you select Anonymous Mode, we strip identifying metadata, never log IP addresses, and will never disclose your personal details to accused parties or hospital administrators. Submissions must be made in good faith with verifiable evidence (photographs, receipts, certificates).
4 Intellectual Property, Copyright & Fair Use
All editorial content, investigative reports, photographic designs, branding, and portal layouts published on Fellow Nurses Africa are the exclusive intellectual property of Fellow Nurses Africa and its licensed partners, protected under Nigerian and international copyright treaties.
Permitted Fair Use: You may quote excerpts of up to 100 words from our articles for academic research, non-commercial educational review, or news commentary, provided you include a clear, clickable hyperlink back to the original source on fellownurses.com. Full article scraping or systematic redistribution is strictly prohibited without prior written editorial consent.
5 International Nursing Career & Training Programs
FNA facilitates international career mobility pathways for qualified African nurses, including NCLEX-RN review mentorship with accredited partners (such as ReMar Review) and U.S. Direct Hire hospital placement connections for NCLEX passers.
- FNA acts as a clinical mentorship and facilitation hub; academic prep materials and credentials evaluations are subject to the terms of the official testing bodies (NCSBN, CGFNS, State Boards of Nursing).
- FNA does not charge illegal recruitment fees or guarantee visa issuance, as foreign visa adjudication remains the exclusive prerogative of national embassies and immigration authorities.
6 Clinical Information & Medical Disclaimer
The articles, interviews, clinical updates, and pharmacology summaries published on Fellow Nurses Africa are intended strictly for professional educational and journalistic informational purposes. They do not constitute individualized medical diagnosis, patient-specific treatment prescriptions, or clinical orders.
Healthcare professionals must always apply their independent clinical judgment and refer to their local hospital clinical protocols and regulatory guidelines.
7 Governing Law, Amendments & Legal Inquiries
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and applicable international conventions. We reserve the right to update these terms periodically to reflect regulatory developments.
