The Nigerian minister of health,professor Isaac Adewole has ordered the chief Medical Directors of the Federal Health institutions across the country to ensure all activities are on going at the hospitals during the period of industrial action embarked upon by the Joint Health Sector Union, Johesu. He also made it clear that the NO WORK NO PAY  law of the federal republic of Nigeria should be fully enforced.

This was made known earlier today through a circular released today with reference number DHS/166 T²/192 and signed by the Head ,Department of hospital services, Dr O.J Amedu

Recall that the joint health sector union called a nationwide strike at the early hours of today due to the failure of the government to obey court rulings in their favour amongst many other demands. The joint health sector union comprises of all other healthcare workers with the exception of the Medical officers.
